Description:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Lead Node Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with a deep understanding of Node.js and TypeScript, microservices architecture, and modern software engineering principles. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing scalable backend systems, and ensuring the quality of the codebase.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript.
• Leadership: experience in a leadership or team lead role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, mathematics, and design patterns.
• Microservices Architecture: Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
• Messaging Systems: Proficiency in using messaging systems like SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Test Coverage: Experience in ensuring unit test coverage for backend services.
• Design Principles: Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• AWS Expertise: Experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.
• Kubernetes and Docker: Experience with deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes and Docker.
  
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement and maintain microservices architecture, ensuring loose coupling, high cohesion, and scalability.
• Work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS or similar for building robust and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Implement Image conversions to the different formats
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for backend services, implementing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Apply data structures, algorithms, and mathematical concepts to solve complex problems and optimize performance.
• Utilize AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and CloudFront to build scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Apply design patterns and SOLID principles to ensure clean, maintainable, and extensible codebases.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, QAs and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
