The company has opened the position of Brand Manager in Oncology area, connected with such diseases as breast cancer, ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer. Brand Manager is an important member of the local marketing team who is working closely with the cross-functional therapy area team, as well as colleagues across brands.

So, when I think of a day in the life of an immunology sales specialist, three words come to mind, one, patience two, passion and three, teamwork. And the reason why I say that is because of this. At AstraZeneca when we say patients come first, we mean patients come first. From everything that we do from our sales calls to our marketing activities. We have one question and one question only. And that is, how is this going to benefit patients? Two, passion, and that's where we come in. As immunology sales specialists, we are the ones that are able to take these marketing ideas, bring our passion and bring them to life into these offices, helping these healthcare providers, that's ultimately gonna help those patients. Three, teamwork, as an immunology sales specialist, you are the quarterback that are able to take the team of experts behind us from marketing to market access, and be able to bring those to the field, to be able to help as many offices that can, again, ultimately help as many patients. So if you're out there and if you have the passion to help as many patients out, and that desire to win, because we do play to win here at AstraZeneca, then this is a place for you.

Brand Manager is an important member of the local marketing team who is working closely with the cross-functional therapy area team, as well as colleagues across brands.
Who are we looking for?
- Someone with experience as a Brand manager in oncology, who can support brand #1 and take responsibility for the result;
- Someone without experience in oncology, but who is ready to learn a lot and really interested in this area.
- Experience from the pharmaceutical industry with Rx products.
- Over 1 year of experience in a position as a brand manager.
- Working experience in original company is prefer.
- MD/ pharmacist/ pharmacologist (higher education in Medicine).
- Proven experience with different marketing and digital channels and ability to identify and apply new ways of interacting, in line with our ambition to be a leading and innovative partner.
- Driver’s license is required and you need to have ability to travel.
- Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care system, etc.
- Intermediate and more in English (requirement: free communication / correspondence / understanding / analysis of scientific literature).
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
The primary responsibility in this role is to support our brand in meeting its business objectives by developing, executing and implementing strategic plans and activities with a patient centric approach. You will also:
- Developing a Winning Brand Strategy: One of the primary responsibilities of a brand manager is developing a robust brand strategy by setting clear brand objectives, identifying target markets, and establishing effective positioning, brand managers lay the foundation for success. Careful analysis of market research data enables them to gain valuable insights into customer needs and competitor activities, allowing them to craft strategies that resonate with their target audience.
- Analyzing the Market and Driving Performance: o stay ahead of the competition, brand manager continuously has to monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities. By conducting thorough market analysis and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), they gain insights into brand performance to make data-driven decisions, identify opportunities, and address challenges promptly, ensuring the brand's sustained growth and success.
- Collaboration for Success:The brand manager works closely with internal departments, including sales, medical, regulatory, and supply chain teams, to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies. This collaboration involves providing training and support to the sales team, aligning messaging, and leveraging cross-functional expertise to maximize brand performance.
- Develop & implement local communication campaigns and materials in partnership with alliance stakeholders.
- Effective Brand Promotion: Brand manager is responsible for driving product awareness, increasing market share, and achieving sales targets through strategic brand promotion to develop and implement promotional campaigns tailored to their target audience, utilizing various channels such as advertising and digital marketing. By engaging healthcare professionals and creating compelling marketing materials, brand manager generates brand loyalty and brand advocacy.
- Develop ideas, materials and activities that contributes to patients' care and improves treatment pathways.
- Work in close cooperation with the sales team to support critical metrics and objectives within the therapy area.
