Service Desk System Administrator

Wargaming Kyiv is a game development studio in Ukraine and a key member of the Wargaming global network. Our studio is home to talented and dedicated teams of game developers, artists, and designers. Now IT department team is looking for Service Desk Specialist who will maintain, develop and improve the office infrastructure.

What will you do?

• Consulting, technical support and assistance to users.

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, tablets, printers and other office equipment. Installing software, both popular (MS Office 365, browsers) and specialized (Adobe, Autodesk, Jetbrains, Substance) and troubleshooting it on users' PCs and laptops.

• Transferring user OS between different equipment

• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance of the studio's local network, repair of network sockets, troubleshooting WI-FI connection.

• Installation work in the office (cabling, installation of network sockets, etc.)

• Moving and completing workplaces of employees and meeting rooms with the necessary equipment.

• Compilation and maintenance of necessary documentation.

What are we looking for?

• Good level of communication skills, it is necessary to be able to explain, show and teach the employee how to use the equipment or service.

• Knowledge of PC components, how it is assembled and completed.

• Knowledge of Windows OS at an advanced level, you must be able to install Windows OS on a clean PC, know common and common Windows OS malfunctions and be able to fix them.

• Knowledge of modern trends in computer hardware.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows network services, such as setting up a LAN network, WI-FI, installing network printers, working with a remote desktop, working with shared folders.

• Knowledge of network technologies: TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, FTP, SMB, RDP, HTTP, understanding of the principles of operation, principles of building computer networks English at an intermediate level.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Writing scripts in Powershell.

• Experience in Jira and Confluence.
