GlobalLogic Ukraine is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to reinforce the financial team in Ukraine.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• In-depth understanding of payroll tax regulations, including personal taxes and single social contributions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in payroll and accounting software, as well as Oracle, MSD 365 BC, IT Enterprise.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
• Intermediate or higher level of English.
  
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing and Management:

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Calculate, verify, and process employee wages, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation is archived and accessible.
  
  
  

Tax Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including personal income tax and single social contributions, in alignment with local regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related tax issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  
  
  

Reconciliation and Financial Reporting:

• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes related to payroll accounts.
• Collaborate with finance team members to ensure accurate reporting and journal entries for payroll expenses.
  
  
  

Audit and Internal Controls:

• Prepare for and support payroll-related audits by gathering necessary documentation and reports.
• Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard payroll data and ensure accuracy in payroll processes.
• Regularly review and update payroll policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
  
  
  

Process Improvement:

• Identify and recommend enhancements to payroll processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline payroll-related workflows and support system upgrades.
