Description:

Our customer is the top Tier-1 company in the automotive world. The company is cooperating with one of the biggest car manufacturers to develop infotainment systems for various car lines.

The GlobalLogic team maintains and updates customer products after the SOP. Maintenance includes AOSP, Yocto Linux, and Linux Kernel parts and customer-specific features, bug fixing, system integration, and validation.

SW Platform: Android 13/14/15, Yocto Linux, Linux Kernel 5.14/5.15

HW platform: Qualcomm 8155, SA8195-AA, 8150

Requirements:

• С/С++ development in UNIX/POSIX or Android userspace / NDK
• Understanding of multithreading and IPC
• Debugging
• Profiling

Job Responsibilities:

• Updating Android version for customer devices
• Android build system customization
• Implementing customer-specific features
• Android platform performance optimization (overall, boot time for cold and hold start)
