Purpose Of The Job

Our Client is a mobile telephone brand in the United Kingdom, running as a mobile virtual network operator using the Three network. A sub-brand of the Three company, the operator aims to attract customers primarily looking for cheaper deals than those available direct from Three, by offering a monthly rolling SIM-only service, limited to online-only support. The operator offers to buy back unused data by means of a bill discount, a practice that is not widespread in the UK but is exhibited elsewhere

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Play technical owner role to test features of various complexity

Create and manage QA documentation (test plan, test cases, traceability matrix, test strategy, test report, status reports), approves them with all stakeholders

Provides estimations, agrees task duration with TL and contributes to project plan of assigned area, splits bigger chunks into smaller tasks

Participate in software requirements review

Lead functional and non-functional test design of assigned areas. Makes sure design decisions on the project meet design requirements

Reports to Team Lead or Project Manager about area readiness/quality, and raise red flags in crisis situations which are beyond his/her AOR

Suggest functional improvements to add value to the product

Conduct technical interviews of new candidates

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

4+ years of overall QA commercial experience

Deep understanding of core testing processes

Understanding of test pyramid and QA methodologies

Experience in Web and API testing

Knowledge of bug tracking tools and process

At least Upper-Intermediate level of English (both strong verbal & written skills)

Well-developed communication & team working skills

Would Be a Plus

JS, Typescript knowledge

Experience with Automation testing approaches (Web\API) using Cypress
