International Tax Manager, D.TRADING

D.TRADING is the international arm of DTEK, Ukraine’s largest independent energy producer and trader. D.Trading is a fast-growing international trading company operating at the intersection of renewable and conventional energy sources. We trade electricity, gas, gas condensate, and coal across Central and Southeastern Europe and aim to provide world-class trading solutions while also transforming the European energy trading landscape. The Group has locations in Amsterdam, Croatia, Switzerland and Hungary and expects that additional country locations will be opened within the next 12-18 months

We're looking for an International Tax Manager 

Responsibilities:

• Administration of taxes and duties for EU companies that conduct electricity, gas and other goods trading in the EU and outside the EU;
• Tax planning and budgeting;
• Tax risk management;
• Working with operating agreements;
• Structuring of trade and financial transactions;
• In-depth analysis of tax legislation for new markets;
• Consulting on business requests.

Requirements:

• Higher education in finance/taxation;
• Experience in preparing and submitting tax reports on VAT, CIT, other taxes;
• Experience in passing tax audits;
• Experience as a tax manager/leading specialist (preferably in the energy sector);
• Experience working in BIG4 as a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of tax legislation, including VAT, CIT, WHT;
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax accounting principles;
• Experience working with accounting systems, Excel, Power Point;
• English – Intermediate.
