As a valued team member, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our ModusToolbox project, a cutting-edge development environment designed to support a broad range of Infineon microcontroller devices. This innovative platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools and a rich repository of application-centric software components, ensuring seamless compatibility with Linux, macOS, and Windows-hosted environments.

In your new role you will:

• Develop and maintain automated tests for ModusToolbox software and QT applications (such as Library Manager and Project Creator);
• Contribute to new test methodologies and systems development;
• Plan and execute test feasibility tasks;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Automate test cases using Python scripting;
• Debug issues, triage failures, and support quality reporting;
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation;
• Define test strategies and own test projects;
• Work in Agile teams, executing tasks during sprints and contributing to the team´s success.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) is desirable, we are open to considering candidates who can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience in validation engineering;
• At least 3 years of experience in validation engineering principles and practices;
• Strong proficiency in Python;
• Automation knowledge is desirable;
• Fluent in English.
