Head of the Operational Marketing and Price Monitoring Unit

Metinvest is an international group of mining and steel companies that owns operations in Ukraine, Europe, and the United States. We are looking for a Head of the Operational Marketing and Price Monitoring Unit at one of the Group's companies, Metinvest Holding.  

What the job involves:

• develop and implement pricing strategies, including defining and adapting pricing approaches for different products and regions, ensuring flexible pricing policies in response to market changes;
• monitor market trends and the competitive landscape, analyse key price indicators across products and regions to uncover profitability growth opportunities; 
• initiate and facilitate market researches; 
• create short-term and long-term price forecasts, analyse gaps and trends to optimise the company's product portfolio and sales planning;
• develop and implement discount policies; define discount rules, establish base prices and surcharges, and create discount programmes to attract and retain customers; 
• ensure regular communication with sales teams, consult regarding sales promotion and customer retention tools, taking into account business needs. 

Our expectations: 

• a complete higher education degree in economics or marketing;
• at least 5 years of experience in marketing and analytics;
• practical experience in conducting strategic analysis and creating analytical reports; 
• skills in managing projects autonomously and prioritising; 
• in-depth knowledge of the steel product market and the competitive landscapes;
• experience in increasing the sales volume and the market share in targeted regions.
