System Administrator

Sargent Logistics, Inc. is an American transportation and logistics company with a head office based in Chicago, IL. Our company provides transportation services throughout the US, with target markets in Washington, Oregon, California (South and North), the Midwest and East Coast.

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our team in the Kyiv office. 

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of proven experience in IT administration, technical support, or related roles. 

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts, and cybersecurity principles. 

• Ability to set up and arrange Software (such as CRM systems, Load boards, TMS systems, IP phones, container tracking API, Macropoint etc.);

• Knowledge of Windows OS at the administrator level.           

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a small branch office setting. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent work experience. 

• Familiarity with logistics or supply chain management systems is a plus. 

Essential Functions:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems including computers, servers, printers, and networking equipment.
  
• Monitor and manage local area networks (LAN), ensuring connectivity, security, and performance for all devices and users.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for various systems and applications.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect data, systems, and networks from cyber threats and unauthorized access. 
• Maintain the internal IT infrastructure: create accounts, provide access to environments, set up office equipment, conduct IT onboarding for new employees, and respond to employee requests.

• Stay updated on technology trends, best practices, and industry standards to recommend and implement improvements and upgrades.

• Afternoon schedule: 14:00 - 23:00.
