Our client is a leading media company and a key player in the news industry. You will be part of the mobile team developing an app that is already live on the market.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Senior Android Developer to play a key role in advancing our mobile applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Android development, specializing in Jetpack Compose, building and maintaining shared libraries, implementing performance monitoring tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will lead critical projects aimed at enhancing app performance, ensuring design system consistency, and improving the overall developer experience.
Education, Skills And Experience
MUST HAVE:
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Android Development.
Proven experience with Kotlin and Java.
Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and building reusable UI components.
Expertise in building and maintaining shared libraries.
Experience with performance monitoring tools like Datadog.
Familiarity with design systems and UI consistency.
Experience integrating web content into mobile apps.
Expertise in dependency management and upgrading libraries.
Deep understanding of Android architecture components and design patterns.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Would Be a Plus
Experience with Apollo GraphQL client on Android.
Experience with cross-platform development.
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the Android developer community.
