Responsibilities:

• Requirements validation;
• Initial automation setup;
• Develop new automation solutions and improve existing ones;
• Research AQA tools/technologies;
• Maintain Automation artifacts and documentation;
• Take ownership of test automation tools and libraries;
• Develop third-party integrations;
• Maintain third-party integrations;
• Mock/stub/integrate with or mock/stamp test dependencies;
• Conduct code reviews;
• Refactor code;
• Configure CI/CD;
• Set up and analyze automation metrics;
• Monitor and troubleshoot;
• Contribute to technical solution standardization;
• Create Automation artifacts and documentation;
• Plan, estimate, and fulfill commitments on time;
• Manage technical debt;
• Conduct QA knowledge-sharing events;
• Mentor Automation QA Engineers;
• Interview AQA candidates;
• Contribute to Operations Excellence (OpEx).
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java Automation in a full-time capacity;
• Strong knowledge of Java Core (Java 8+);
• Experience in framework development from scratch;
• Experience with the Playwright framework for UI automation;
• Experience with API testing tools and methodologies (e.g., RestAssured);
• Experience with the Appium mobile framework;
• Experience with CI/CD tool setup and configuration;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Strong understanding of software testing theory and methodologies;
• Experience with proxy tools;
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL (DDL & DML at least);
• Experience with Task Management systems and Test Management systems (e.g., Testmo, TestRail);
• Ability to build and maintain Test Documentation and Reports;
• Knowledge of client-server architecture; capable of creating services/clients independently;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities;
• Strong critical thinking skills.
