WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Develop and maintain backend services written in C++ for medical imaging workflows;- Implement and enhance DICOM networking (C-STORE, C-FIND, C-MOVE) and routing logic;
- Optimize the performance and scalability of image ingestion and study distribution;
- Integrate with cloud infrastructure (AWS S3) for storage and retrieval;
- Participate in the migration of legacy services to a C++17-based architecture;
- Work closely with DevOps (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, custom Ubuntu builds);
- Follow Agile methodologies and collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams.


MUST HAVES

- 5+ years of experience in backend C++ development (preferably C++17);- Strong understanding of DICOM protocol and PACS systems (Picture Archiving and Communication System);
- Experience with multithreading, socket, websocket programming, and performance tuning;
- Familiarity with cloud-native patterns and services (AWS S3, EC2, etc.);
- Proficiency with Linux, CMake, Git, and Linux development environments;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.


NICE TO HAVES

- Experience with DCMTK or GDCM;
- Familiarity with Debian packaging and Ubuntu-based custom builds;
- Experience with healthcare data privacy standards (HIPAA).
