Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer, using JavaScript/Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in modern front-end frameworks e.g. React.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, with solid experience with Express.js for backend development.
• Good understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with testing frameworks Mocha and Chai for writing robust unit tests.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code versioning tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Hands-on experience with task tracking systems like JIRA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Web Components (Custom elements).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of DevOps principles.
• Experience with Helm Charts.
• Experience with Spinnaker.

Major Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript and related frameworks.
• Work with Express.js to build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Integrate and manage PostgreSQL databases efficiently.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Mocha and Chai.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services.
