Senior AWS Application Design Engineer (f/m/div)

As a Senior AWS Application Design Engineer, you will develop cloud applications for customer configuration and evaluation of Infineon’s Edge Machine Learning Suite of products. You will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS). If you're interested, apply and join us in Infineon in Lviv!

In your new role you will:

• Design cloud applications for evaluation of ML-edge voice and video applications for MCU products
• Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS, focusing on architecture, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
• Drive product performance, power, and area requirements and analysis from product and system perspective
• Drive continuous improvements of design flows and work methods
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and efficient, following cloud provider's best practices and industry standards
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using cloud provider's services, such as AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and Aurora
• Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and analytics
• Work with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based applications
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud provider's services and features, and apply this knowledge to improve application design and development
  
  

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of cloud provider's services, including compute, storage, database, and security components
• Experience with cloud-native application development, including containerization (e.g., Docker) and serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or GCP Cloud Functions)
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and DevOps practices
• Experience with project management tools such as Confluence, Jira, BitBucket, and Gitlab
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
• Certification in cloud provider's certification program (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Developer) is a plus
