Senior Node.js Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Software Engineer to join our team.

Our customer is a leading energy services provider with over 200 years of history, originally fueling the industrial revolution with gas and coal. They have since evolved into a pioneering force in the energy sector, offering integrated services and expert industry knowledge. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end of our application. You'll work closely with other developers to ensure seamless integration with the application's front-end components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the back-end of our application using Node.js and TypeScript
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure cohesive and efficient development
• Implement and maintain AWS services
• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest or similar frameworks to ensure code quality
• Work with databases and contribute to the overall architecture of the application
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of extensive experience in back-end development with Node.js
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with TypeScript
• Proven expertise with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, VPC
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests using Jest or other testing frameworks
• Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to optimize performance and design efficient data models
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
