The Sales team for Ukraine is responsible for all sales-related activities from initial customer contact to submitting offers to negotiating new contracts for wind farms and concluding them.

Also to be able to interact with different stakeholders involved in the chain and including the internal ones.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to secure long-term sales relationships with Vestas's customers, as well as to identify and pursue supply sales opportunities, from initial screening and quotation to negotiating and signing contracts and thereby securing business in the Ukrainian market. Reporting to the SVP of Sales in the Region, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:

• Provide a day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted the customers, as well as understand the customer business case in order to ensure optimal and mutually beneficial value propositions
• Screen and evaluate sales opportunities
• To prioritize projects and customers towards best resources use optimization
• Manage the entire sales cycle: from identifying potential customers, quoting and optimizing deals to negotiating and concluding contracts for the delivery of wind energy projects
• Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization, as well as to coordinate and specify technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction and service solutions for the customers, in close corporation with other Vestas departments
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities)
• Monitor market development and trends
• Input to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategy
  
  

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
• +5 years of similar experience in the energy industry, machinery, construction or related environment, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products
• Solid commercial and legal experience from exposure to/understanding of customers
