Energy Infrastructure Sector Experts

Tetra Tech is seeking energy sector experts to join our team in Ukraine for anticipated proposal activities supporting the reconstruction of energy infrastructure in Ukraine. Assignments are contingent upon contract award

Applicants should be mid- to senior-level experts with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Energy sector planning and investment preparation and project origination
• Pre-feasibility/feasibility studies and master planning for energy infrastructure projects
• Engineering and design of energy infrastructure projects (i.e., electricity, gas, district heating supply, municipal and social infrastructure, etc.)
• Energy infrastructure project design, supervision and quality assurance
• Procurement of energy sector equipment (and related goods and services), including tender documentation, contract design, and management of procurement processes
• Project management including design, planning, control, scheduling, cost management, and delivery
• Financial and economic analysis of energy infrastructure projects
• Financial management, finance, and disbursement
• Environmental and social impact assessment and mitigation
• Donor coordination and stakeholder participation
  
  

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or similar field
• Minimum of 8- 10 years of work experience in energy sector infrastructure
• Experience working in one and/or more disciplines listed above
• Familiarity with the political, social, and cultural context of working in Ukraine
• Ability to build effective relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (reading, writing, and presentation skills)
• Must be a resident of Ukraine with proven local expertise
  
  

Preferred But Not Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Professional Engineer license equivalent
• Understanding, practical knowledge, and experience of FIDIC conditions of contract (demonstrated by FIDIC Contract Management Certificate) is considered an asset
• Experience working on projects financed by international financial institutions
