Senior Power BI Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Senior Software Developer with strong Power BI expertise to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and contributing to key phases of the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will play a critical role in delivering impactful data visualizations and insights using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain application features and components following design specifications and coding standards.
• Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports using SQL, Excel, APIs, Power Query (M), and DAX.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable data insights.
• Optimize application and dashboard performance, accuracy, and usability.
• Review and maintain documentation, code, and test cases.
• Interface with clients for requirement clarification, solution design, and presentations.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement improvements.

• Technical: Power BI, SQL, Excel, APIs, Power Query (M), DAX, software design patterns, programming in multiple languages, SDLC, Agile methodologies.
• Analytical: Data modeling, performance optimization, effort estimation.
• Interpersonal: Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, team mentoring, and customer collaboration.
• Organizational: Project planning, task prioritization, multitasking under pressure.
