Junior QA Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team part-time in Ukraine.

About The Role

As a Junior QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are a leading global product engineering and digital services company that unites 4000+ seasoned professionals globally on various projects in healthcare, fintech, travel, sportswear, entertainment, and security. Ciklum delivers high-impact technology solutions to Fortune 500 and fast-growing organizations worldwide.

Our Client is a global leader in the online comparison market. The goal is to simplify decision-making and connecting customers with valuable brands. We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join our QA team in a half-time role, responsible for ensuring the quality of the company’s websites through manual and automated testing, as well as monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Providing effective test coverage that corresponds to the given requirements
• Identifying, recording, alerting, and tracking bugs
• Collaborating with Product OPS, R&D, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Designers to identify system requirements
• Writing, monitoring, and maintaining automation tests
  
  

Requirements

• Upper-intermediate English (both spoken and written)
• 1+ year of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of testing principles and techniques
• Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and bug reports (in English)
• Experience in Web testing
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
• Analytical thinking
  
  

Soft Skills Requirements

Well-organized and detail-oriented person with good communication skills, who is ready to become a great team player.

Desirable

• Experience working with Jira and Monday.com
• Some experience with the testim.io platform
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience working in a team
