Lead Software Engineer (MLOps & ML Infrastructure - AdTech)

Your Project

We are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Lead Engineer with a strong background in software architecture and machine learning infrastructure to spearhead the technical design and development of our greenfield MLOps platform. This platform will be foundational to enabling scalable, secure, and high-performance ML operations across our AdTech ecosystem.

Your Role

• Architect and lead the end-to-end development of a modern MLOps platform, enabling seamless model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Collaborate with product management, data science, and analytics teams to understand ML workflows and translate them into scalable, production-grade systems.
• Evaluate and integrate existing data and analytics frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Dataflow) to build core platform capabilities.
• Design and implement:
• Model training orchestration pipelines
• CI/CD for ML (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI Pipelines)
• Model versioning, performance monitoring, and automated retraining
• Ensure the platform supports key AdTech use cases such as:
• Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
• Real-time bidding (RTB) and personalization
• Audience segmentation and predictive analytics
• Build integrations with enterprise systems including Order Management Systems (OMS), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and custom BI tools to enable real-time and batch model consumption.
• Establish and enforce best practices for ML governance, observability, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  

Your Profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in ML infrastructure, platform engineering, or MLOps.
• Proven experience architecting and building ML platforms from scratch, ideally in a cloud-native environment.
• Deep understanding of AdTech systems, including programmatic advertising, attribution modeling, and campaign analytics.
• Strong experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) and modern data engineering tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Build).
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence architecture and strategy across cross-functional teams.
