Join GlobalLogic’s Architects Team within the Healthcare Business Unit, supporting clients across the EMEA region. This strategic role is focused on engaging new clients, shaping impactful technical solutions, and launching innovative healthcare projects where quality and compliance are critical. You will drive test automation architecture and strategy for complex systems in regulated environments, contributing to presales, delivery excellence, and business growth. • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance.
• 3+ years in a QA Architect or Test Automation Lead role, ideally in healthcare or regulated domains.
• Proven experience in building test automation frameworks from scratch using modern tools.
• Expertise in test automation for web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and automation in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of test data management, mocking/stubbing, and test environment configuration.
• Familiarity with cloud-native test automation approaches and containerized environments.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills (at least Upper-Intermediate English).
• Ability to align QA strategy with business, regulatory, and technical needs.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Experience working with regulated medical software (Class B or higher).
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or other healthcare data privacy standards.
• Understanding of test automation for IoMT, embedded systems, or remote patient monitoring platforms.
• Experience with exploratory testing, usability testing, and risk-based testing strategies.

Job responsibilities

• Lead test automation strategy and architecture for HealthTech and MedTech solutions.
• Collaborate with client and delivery teams to define test automation requirements and frameworks during presales and project initiation.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and compliant test automation architectures for cloud and hybrid systems.
• Select and implement appropriate testing tools, frameworks, and infrastructure (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, etc.).
• Define test automation coverage for unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Ensure alignment with medical software regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Promote shift-left testing, CI/CD integration, and test-driven development approaches.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot test automation initiatives for new projects.
• Mentor teams on test automation best practices, code quality, and performance testing.
• Document test automation strategies, framework designs, and compliance processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, delivery managers, and QA engineers.
