Description

We are building a web-based medical application that enables clinicians to create and manage patient cases and visualize diagnostic data using 3D models rendered in Unity. The application also leverages machine learning pipelines to analyze medical records and assist in clinical decision-making. The frontend is developed in Angular, and the platform uses OKTA for authentication and authorization.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Lead or Senior Angular Developer to join our cross-functional development team. In this role, you will take ownership of key aspects of frontend architecture and implementation for a complex, healthcare-focused web application. The ideal candidate brings deep Angular expertise, strong architectural vision, and leadership capabilities to drive technical decisions and mentor team members.

6+ years of professional experience in Angular development.

Strong skills in TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular module architecture.

Experience with OKTA, Keycloak identity providers for Single Sign-On (SSO) and secure API access.

Solid understanding of frontend security best practices, particularly in sensitive data environments like healthcare.

Proficiency in responsive design, CSS3, SCSS, and component-based UI frameworks (e.g., Angular Material).

Experience integrating 3D technologies (e.g., Unity WebGL builds) in web applications is a strong plus.

Previous experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical decision-making is a strong asset.

Job responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of Angular-based frontends with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Architect modular and reusable components and ensure alignment with overall system architecture.

Unity Integration: Work closely with Unity developers to embed and control 3D models within the Angular application, ensuring smooth and interactive visualization.

Authentication & Security: Integrate and manage OKTA-based authentication, ensuring secure access control across user roles and sessions.

API Integration: Interface with backend services and ML pipelines through secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

Testing & Quality: Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using Angular testing frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with backend, DevOps, Unity, and ML teams to ensure seamless end-to-end system integration.

Team Leading: Support other Frontend Developers on the project, conduct code reviews, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
