Genesis invites you to join our dynamic and talented Head Office team as a Transfer Pricing Associate. If you are ready to take responsibility for transfer pricing issues and develop professionally, this position may be your step to success.
Main Responsibilities:
- assist in the management of transfer pricing projects across multiple jurisdictions including Cyprus, US, UAE, and Ukraine; help to ensure that projects are executed in compliance with both local and international transfer pricing regulations;
- сoordinate the preparation and timely submission of transfer pricing returns and disclosures in relevant tax jurisdictions;
- support communication efforts with external advisors and review deliverables to ensure they meet the Group’s requirements; facilitate efficient information flow between internal teams and external consultants;
- provide support during tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and argumentation under the guidance of senior staff; assist in developing strategies to effectively manage and resolve audit inquiries and challenges;
- contribute to the collection and analysis of transaction data; assist in conducting functional, risk, and economic analyses to support transfer pricing documentation and compliance efforts;
- identify transactions that fall under DAC 6 reporting requirements, and assist in DAC 6 compliance, where needed;
- assist in drafting and maintaining comprehensive and compliant transfer pricing documentation (Local Files, Master File, intercompany agreements, etc.); ensure documentation is consistently updated and properly archived;
- monitor regulatory updates and changes in transfer pricing laws under the guidance of senior management; help to analyze the impact of these changes on the Group’s operations and strategies.
Key Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:
- BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field;
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in transfer pricing (either in-house or legal & accountancy firm); experience in Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting companies followed by in-house position will be preferable;
- knowledge of International regulations, OECD guidance and developments, in particular transfer pricing guidelines;
- understanding of transfer pricing legislation in Cyprus; experience with transfer pricing in the USA and/or UAE would be a plus;
- strong desire to dive into and explore new countries' tax legislation;
- strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.);
- understanding of international tax (in particular DAC6, utilization of double tax treaties);
- English proficiency (upper-intermediate or advanced), with strong communication skills – is a must;
- professional knowledge of MS Excel.
