We’re looking for a resourceful, tech-savvy individual who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving real-world problems, and is ready to grow with a fast-moving startup. You should have solid technical foundations and strengths in either IT support or project coordination — ideally both.

Core Requirements

— Hands-on experience with programming or scripting — You should be comfortable working with at least one general-purpose programming language.

This Could Include

Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, PHP, Ruby, Bash.

Experience can be backend, frontend (e.g. React), or fullstack — we value problem-solving more than exact stack.

— Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills — You enjoy investigating unexpected issues and figuring out how to prevent them in the future.

— Experience supporting internal users or managing systems — You’ve worked with access controls, permissions, account setups, or IT support flows.

— Familiarity with cloud-based tools — Comfort using and administering platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other SaaS tools.

— Basic knowledge of IT security principles — You understand concepts like secure access, data protection, and risk awareness.

— Strong organizational and project coordination abilities — You can manage multiple priorities, keep stakeholders aligned, and follow through.

— Fluent spoken and written English — Our internal communication is fully in English, so a confident speaking level is essential.

— Self-starter mindset — You’re proactive, curious, and comfortable figuring things out without needing step-by-step guidance.

— Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, or internal audits

— Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP)

Role Details.

Remote: Yes, 100%.

Schedule: Flexible, but you must be available 9—11am ET on weekdays.

Commitment: Min. 25 hrs/week, preference for full-time (or growth to full-time).

Team: You’ll work alongside our sysadmin, automation engineer, and IT lead.

Supervision: Optional, depending on experience. Opportunities to grow into a lead role.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate:

$20—30/hr for early-career candidates.

Higher for experienced professionals or team leads.

This is a hybrid role combining hands-on IT support, project coordination, and security oversight. You’ll work closely with our small, tight-knit IT team (3 team members curreспілкуватись) and have the opportunity to own projects from day one.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include

IT Support & Daily Ops

— Respond to helpdesk support tickets from internal team members

— Manage staff access and system accounts (onboarding/offboarding)

— Provide general tech troubleshooting and support across ~20 internal tools.

Technical Project Management

— Lead or support IT improvement initiatives — automations, system upgrades, software rollouts, etc.

— Coordinate internal tech development efforts with our engineers

— Help drive efficiency and usability across our internal systems.

Security Assurance

— Help maintain and improve IT security protocols and practices

— Monitor potential risks, and support incident response processes

— Contribute to security training and documentation.

You don’t need to be an expert in all 3 areas — strengths in either IT support or project management are required. We’re open to teaching the rest to someone who’s smart, organized, and ready to grow.
