Technical Support Specialist (Applications)

This position involves working at our office in Lviv.

As a Technical Support Specialist / IT Application Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the entire lifecycle of IT applications – evaluating new tools, coordinating purchases, implementing systems, and eventually retiring outdated software. This role is essential for effectively managing our software applications throughout the organization. Your contributions will directly impact our efficiency and success!

In this collaborative position, you will work closely with various internal teams – including Security, InfraOps, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders – while engaging with our external software vendors. We seek someone who takes ownership, possesses excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. You will also be able to contribute to exciting global IT projects like rolling out new SaaS platforms, managing licenses, and enhancing procurement processes.

Responsibilities

Procurement & licensing management: initiating and processing software purchases through the company’s ERP system, managing communication with vendors on pricing, ensuring full legal and financial compliance in all procurement activities

• Application management: manages software licenses, supporting end users, integrating plugins, collaborating with contractors, ensuring security compliance, and maintaining documentation for effective enterprise-level application management
• Cross-functional collaboration & project involvement: serving as a liaison between IT and other departments to deliver tailored solutions, supporting audits with detailed records, leading global IT initiatives, and analyzing application trends to drive process improvements
  
  

What We Expect

2+ years in IT operations, procurement, or application support, preferably in a multinational or tech-driven environment

• Technical background in IT support or technical support
• A solid understanding of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, user-based, etc.), asset management tools, and SaaS ecosystems
• Strong ability to diagnose application-related issues and effectively liaise with vendors or technical teams for swift resolution
• English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
