As the LLM System Architect/Tech Lead, you will spearhead the design and development of a versatile platform for LLM-driven systems that will be applied to creative, operational, and internal functions. You will lead the creation of a sophisticated, tool-oriented conversational architecture that integrates structured tool schemas, dynamic prompt logic, and interchangeable LLM backends. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over five years of experience in constructing scalable backend or distributed systems.
• A proven track record of successfully architecting LLM-powered or conversational systems.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership capacity involving cross-functional collaboration.
• High proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with contemporary LLM frameworks.
• A thorough understanding of function calling, modular system design, and patterns for assistant systems.
• Experience with creative workflows, automation tools, or educational technology is considered a plus.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Architecting and implementing a modular platform for LLM-based control and interaction.
• Designing the central assistant engine, which includes handling intent classification, tool routing, and managing state.
• Developing interfaces that support tools defined by OpenAPI/JSON and declarative schemas.
• Enabling the integration of various LLM providers, such as OpenAI, Claude, and local models.
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between the user experience and backend logic.
• Guiding engineering best practices, infrastructure design, and maintaining code quality for a high-performance system.
