Senior Automation QA Engineer (JavaScript)

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who will take ownership of improving our testing processes by replacing mock tests with live tests and automating current manual testing activities. The role involves ensuring reliable end-to-end test coverage across all environments, with a strong focus on building maintainable test automation solutions and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Automate existing mock tests and replace them with live tests across all environments, including production-like environments.
• Develop and maintain automated UI and end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Automate manual test scenarios to enhance test coverage and reduce regression time.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure early testing (Shift Left Testing) and smooth integration with CI/CD.
• Investigate and debug test failures, resolve flaky tests, and ensure test reliability.
• Create clear, reusable, and maintainable test cases and scripts.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end testing (including API mocking and interception).
• Experience testing in SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and CSR (Client-Side Rendering) environments.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly with flaky test scenarios.
• Ability to write well-structured, maintainable, and reusable test cases.
• Familiarity with Shift Left Testing principles and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Vitest.
