IT Project Manager

WebbyLab is a Ukrainian IT outsourcing company. We develop scalable and feature-rich Web and Mobile applications using NodeJs, React, React Native, PHP stack. We have successfully completed projects for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Pfizer, Uber, Ezlo, etc.

We’re looking for an IT Project Manager to strengthen our team. You’ll be responsible for launching new projects, supporting existing ones, organizing team processes, and communicating with clients. We expect you to dive deep into the technical side of projects, understand architectural decisions made by the technical team, and clearly communicate them to the client when needed. It’s important to maintain a balance between business and client needs, deliver high-quality results on time, and stay updated on web development trends. Experience with fintech, healthcare, IoT, or e-commerce projects will be a plus.

Your skill set:

• 1+ years of experience working as an IT Project Manager;
• Experience in end-to-end project planning and setup;
• Hands-on experience in B2C and B2B products for both web and mobile applications;
• Solid understanding of project management tools and processes;
• Experience working with various bug and task tracking systems (JIRA, ClickUp, Redmine);
• Good knowledge of software development methodologies and life cycle;
• Experience in writing technical specifications (including building models, processes and structures, UI prototypes, and user scenarios);
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects and teams at the same time;
• Project planning and estimation skills;
• Ability to deploy and set up projects based on provided instructions;
• Competence in defining and documenting product requirements;
• Full involvement in supporting the software development life cycle;
• Close collaboration with developers and QA engineers during product development;
• English proficiency at Upper Intermediate level;
• Experience working with international clients.

Would be a plus:

• Technical background (developer, QA);
• Basic knowledge of software architecture;
• Experience in managing multiple projects and teams at the same time.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain project documentation;
• Negotiate with the customer and carry out stand-ups, status meetings with the team;
• Make plans and project assessments;
• Break down projects into tasks, prioritize and distribute them among the team;
• Track the progress of tasks, the status of projects;
• Track team and customer satisfaction;
• Provide the customer with reports on the progress of the project;
• Present demo versions and solutions to the customer;
• Participate in the recruiting process of new team members.
