Senior Managing Consultant, Service Business Development, Ukraine and Moldova

All About The Role

You will join Mastercard’s Services Business Development leadership team as a Director, driving our growth agenda across Ukraine and Moldova. You will work alongside top-tier professionals within one of the largest high-performing financial services advisory teams in Ukraine and have access to global experts and Mastercard’s leading technology and AI-powered solutions.

In this role, you will shape and lead strategic initiatives that connect our advisory capabilities and platforms with the needs of key clients. You will engage senior executives at banks, fintechs, and digital commerce players to identify and activate growth opportunities, accelerate digital transformation, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Internally, you will collaborate across advisory, product, and platform teams to design high-impact, data-driven solutions that support personalization, analytics, and cashless ecosystems. You will build long-term client relationships based on trust and strategic value, contribute to the evolution of our Services strategy, and mentor and develop junior team members.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Co-develop and execute the Services growth strategy in Ukraine & Moldova
• Identify opportunities to drive customer business growth, enhance efficiency, elevate CX, and bring innovation by matching the right Mastercard capabilities to client needs
• Leverage your experience, best practices, and global expertise to craft persuasive development proposals and effectively communicate them to senior stakeholders
• Build strong partnerships with client leadership and position yourself as a strategic advisor and thought partner for emerging business needs
• Partner with delivery and product teams to ensure project quality and identify follow-up opportunities
• Ensure internal alignment across opportunity scoping, approvals, and contracting processes to support seamless execution
• Actively coach and mentor team members, review deliverables, and support their development through continuous feedback and guidance
  
  
  

EDUCATION NEEDED

• A higher education degree from a top Ukrainian or international university is required
• An MBA is a plus
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are not required but may reflect overall competency
  
  
  

All About You

• Experience in top-tier consulting is preferred; we also consider candidates from Big 4, investment banking, VC, tech, or internal strategy units in financial institutions
• Background in payments or banking is a plus
• High proficiency in creating presentations in a clear, concise, and compelling consulting style with strong storytelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to structure solutions and drive data-based decisions
• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen to interpret market trends and make actionable recommendations
• Ownership mindset with the ability to deliver results and align cross-functional teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills to engage senior clients and influence complex decisions
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working across regions and cultures
