AI/ML Engineer (Freelance)

We are seeking a Founding AI Engineer to lead the development of AI transformation from the ground up. This includes designing and deploying LLM-based solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams, and advocating for AI adoption through clear business value.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a track record of delivering production-grade solutions;
• Expertise in using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA) to build real-world applications;
• Experience with orchestration tools like LangChain, LangGraph, LMDeploy, or vLLM;
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL;
• Familiarity with RAG systems, prompt engineering, MLOps, and LLMOps best practices;
• Experience working with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus;
• Strong communication and influencing skills, especially with cross-functional and leadership teams;
• Independent, self-driven mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered systems using LLMs to improve productivity and business performance;
• Own the full development lifecycle – from idea to deployment and monitoring;
• Develop scalable AI architectures aligned with global expansion goals;
• Champion AI adoption by demonstrating clear business value to internal stakeholders;
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate AI into key workflows;
• Communicate complex models and results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
