The Fund was established to support the countless Ukrainian children who have faced the profound loss of a parent or parents during the ongoing war. The Fund offers long-term comprehensive assistance to these children and their families, guided by dedicated team of Family Helpers. The programs are made possible through the generous support of partners and donors.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a fundraising strategy to increase and diversify income across donor segments
- Cultivate and steward relationships with key stakeholders, including major individual donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations, ensuring ongoing support and long-term commitment
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through lead generation and conversion strategies
- Develop and implement donor communications and engagement strategies that strengthen loyalty, enhance donor experiences, and drive continued financial support across all donor segments
- Design, build and lead fundraising operations, systems, and tools (e.g., CRM, donor database, analytics, other). Beyond oversight, this role requires strong technical sales expertise to develop structured, scalable lead generation and donor engagement processes
- Ensure accurate donor tracking, segmentation, reporting, and insights for decision-making
- Create effective internal processes to support campaign planning, donor journeys, and grant management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing fundraising team
- Foster collaboration between departments, especially with programs,communications, and finance, to ensure smooth revenue operations
- Work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors on fundraising efforts
- Serve as a senior voice of the foundation to external stakeholders
- Represent Children of Heroes in donor meetings, events, and partner engagements
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising (nonprofit or major donors investment sectors), B2B sales, revenue generation, or business development in countries outside Ukraine
- Strong entrepreneurial approach with a passion and energy to drive results in an ever-changing environment
- Experience managing and growing diverse revenue streams, especially individual and major donors
- Experience in fundraising operations and tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM systems)
- Ability to develop and execute a long-term, data-driven revenue growth strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Confident and experiences in public speaking
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on fostering an entrepreneurial spirit within the team
- Ukrainian language native speaker, fluent in English, spoken and written
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
