DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our infrastructure and development workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in operating systems, networking, and systems architecture, with hands-on experience in Linux environments, cloud and container technologies, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes using modern DevOps tools.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (preferred), Podman, AWS ECS/EKS, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across all environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Support onboarding of new technologies and tools that enhance developer productivity and system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and systems architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Radware).
• Familiarity with container services and orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred, Podman, AWS ECS/EKS).
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Programming experience in Python (preferred), Go, Ruby, or Bash.
• Proficiency with GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.
• Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
