Senior Environments Support Engineer (2nd Line)

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Senior Environments Support Engineer (2nd Line) to join our dynamic team.

This role is pivotal in providing advanced systems engineering support and addressing escalated end-user issues. You'll collaborate with various teams to deliver seamless solutions, maintain operational excellence, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for Windows platforms in physical and virtual environments
• Manage the lifecycle of global standard desktop and laptop models, including maintenance of desktop images and SCCM task sequences
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, SOPs, and end-user-facing runbooks for assigned projects and tasks
• Act as the final escalation point for root cause and preventative analyses for operational issues
• Collaborate with Engineering and Security Compliance teams to validate and maintain application requests and system updates
• Drive the delivery of technology and solutions outlined in the roadmap while ensuring high-quality standards
• Monitor and address endpoint security alerts, such as those from CyberArk
• Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including creating images, deploying VMs, and monitoring performance metrics
• Automate software deployment, patch management, and workstation imaging processes
• Manage PXE environments and 1E products to support provisioning and repair processes
• Provide level 3 support for escalated end-user computing and system issues
• Administer Microsoft and third-party patch deployments to ensure system compliance and reliability
  
  
  

Requirements

• Residence in Ukraine (remote work eligible only for candidates based in Ukraine)
• Hands-on experience working with Azure Virtual Desktops
• Proficiency in Windows platforms, Microsoft Azure, FsLogix, Group Policy, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting
• Expertise in SCCM administration, global software deployment, patch management, and workstation imaging
• Background in creating, testing, and deploying software packages using tools like InstallShield or comparable solutions
• Competency in managing VDI environments, preferably with Azure Virtual Desktop
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and software development lifecycle methods
• Skills in bios/firmware updates, scripting (batch, SQL, vbscript, PowerShell), and system automation
• Office on schedule 3 times per week (Office in cities - Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsa, Dnipro)
