AR accountant

An American corporation, the manufacturer and supplier of flavors and fragrances used in the food, beverage, personal care and household products is looking for an AR accountant to join Controllership team in Kyiv. The role reports to the Chief accountant.

Job requirements:

• Knowledge & Experience:

Master's/Bachelor`s degree in accounting, finance or other related field

1-3 years of accounting experience

Knowledge of UA GAAP, the Tax Code of Ukraine 

English not less than B1 level

Prior experience in an international environment will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Recording customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable (bad debts provision, promissory notes, etc.)
• Issuing and registration of VAT invoices/adjustments, preparing VAT declaration.
• Producing weekly aging and sales reports
• Verification of COGS calculation
• Yearly inventory of goods
• Recording travel expense reports in accordance with corporate policies and local legislation requirements
• Managing employee`s corporate cards
• Performing accounts reconciliations ensuring compliance with corporate policy
• Supporting internal and external audit, month-end closing process
