Senior Go Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced software solutions.

As a Senior Go Developer, you will focus on designing and implementing efficient, reliable, and scalable systems, collaborating with a distributed team to address complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality software solutions using Go to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Operate monitoring tools such as Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability), Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog
• Collaborate with distributed teams by leveraging excellent communication abilities to align requirements and deliverables
• Analyze critical issues in production environments and resolve them effectively
• Manage cloud services at scale and optimize systems for enhanced reliability and performance
• Deploy containerized applications using platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strengthen system observability through improved monitoring and alerting integrations
• Optimize database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL along with messaging queues like Kafka for seamless workflows
• Stay updated with industry developments to enhance the software development process

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Go programming
• Background in monitoring tools including Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability), Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, etc.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities
• Previous experience with cloud-scale environments using platforms like AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with container-based workflows in Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and flexibility to collaborate in distributed teams
• English level B1+ for effective interaction

Nice to have

• Interest in learning emerging technologies and driving continuous innovation
• Showcase of contributions to open-source projects to demonstrate community involvement
• Proficiency in SRE and/or DevOps practices
• Competency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL), messaging queues (Kafka), and exposure to web servers such as Apache and Nginx
• Understanding of monitoring or operating platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
