Job Description

About project/role:

Our client is a well-known developer of program solutions for business management, accounting, invoicing, analytics, and government regulations.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Azure, infrastructure automation, and cloud security. The ideal candidate will be experienced in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments using modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Operate and optimize Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Drive cloud migration initiatives and enforce Zero Trust security principles.
• Automate cloud security controls (RBAC, policy enforcement, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell for automation and tooling.
  
  

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), GitHub Actions (CI/CD), Azure services and AKS, Python and PowerShell scripting
• Understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and policy enforcement.
• Experience working in Agile teams and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate DevOps/Kubernetes-related certifications
