Head of Finance

Betinvest is an international product company in the sports technology sector. For over 20 years, we have been creating innovative solutions for the iGaming industry, with a focus on esports, fast sports, and AI-driven products.

We are now looking for a Head of Finance — an expert with strong strategic planning skills who can build an effective, comprehensive financial management system aligned with our growth goals and complex international structure.

Who we are looking for: A finance professional who:

Combines strategic vision with hands-on execution

Has experience building and optimising financial systems in an international environment

Understands tax legislation in our key jurisdictions — the UK, Ukraine, and the EU

Is familiar with reporting requirements related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects

Has AML knowledge and relevant qualification(s)

Understands the fundamentals of international corporate law, compliance, and financial regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the company’s financial function and internal processes considering its international structure
• Financial planning, budgeting, and P&L management
• Tax optimisation in line with the requirements of Ukraine, Cyprus, the UK, and the EU
• Manage financial flows between entities in different jurisdictions
• Develop policies and procedures, automate financial processes
• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports in each country of operation
• Manage risks and ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and other relevant regulations
• Participate in strategic planning and support business decision-making from a financial perspective
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, legal and tax consultants
• Manage a team of accountants and finance professionals in multiple countries

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance in an international environment
• Practical experience in preparing and submitting tax and financial reports
• Strong knowledge of business structuring, financial planning, and optimisation principles
• AML certification — a plus
• Experience in launching or transforming the finance function — a plus
• English — Upper-Intermediate+
• Basic knowledge of tax, corporate, and international law
• Experience in IT or iGaming companies — a plus
• ACCA certification — a plus
