Senior Big Data Engineer (Scala/Spark)

We’re looking for Senior Big Data Engineer who will join the team is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and datasets related to application metadata for internal stakeholders. The work involves developing scalable data solutions, ensuring data quality, and supporting business needs through reliable data infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and datasets using Scala and Spark.
• Collaborate with technical leads and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Participate in service migration projects and development of new services.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and technical guides.
• Ensure smooth data processing and high system reliability.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Scala and Spark.
• Proven background in data pipelines development and data engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and produce clear documentation.
• Availability to join evening calls (till 21:00)
• English level: Upper Intermediate or higher

• Experience with AWS and Snowflake.
