Senior Financial Planning & Analysis

AltexSoft is looking for a Senior FP&A Specialist who will support and enhance the company’s core financial processes. This is an operational yet highly analytical role that requires strong ownership, precision, and the ability to work closely with business leaders across multiple departments. The position focuses on financial planning, advanced data analytics, and providing high-quality insights that support effective decision-making. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Prepare annual and quarterly budgets, rolling forecasts, scenario models, and detailed financial analyses. 
2. Conduct ongoing analysis of revenues, costs, profitability, variances vs. budget, and underlying business drivers. 
3. Develop and maintain financial dashboards, automated reports, and data visualizations in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for key stakeholders. 
4. Act as a financial partner to business units, providing timely analytical support, operational insights, and recommendations for performance improvement. 
5. Contribute to the enhancement of internal financial policies, procedures, controls, and compliance standards. 
6. Support month-end closing, internal and external audits, and preparation of consolidated management reporting packages. 
7. Participate in building financial models for new initiatives, investment cases, and operational efficiency improvements. 

Requirements: 

1. 4+ years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Controller, or FP&A Specialist. 
2. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and data-driven decision support.
3. Expertise in financial statement creation and analysis, and GAAP reporting standards.
4. Proven ability to design and implement custom, project-based financial reporting to isolate and analyze the performance of specific business lines or investments.
5. Proficiency in investment analysis and capital budgeting, including DCF modeling, M&A valuation, and calculating key metrics (ROI, ROCE) to support strategic decisions. 
6. Proven hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboards, data models, DAX basics). 
7. Ability to work with large datasets, validate data quality, and derive actionable insights. 
8. Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting senior leadership with financial analysis. 
9. High level of accuracy, accountability, critical thinking, and ability to work independently. 
10. English level - Upper-Intermediate or higher. 
11. Nice to have: experience in international companies, understanding of IT or service-based business models.
