Our client operates in Energy domain, responsible for ensuring the reliability of the electric grid and managing the wholesale power market. We are partnering with them to modernize their processess.

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the foundational design and deployment of a high-performance, on-premise environment.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Kubernetes: deep hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting production-grade Kubernetes clusters in on-premise or bare-metal environments (not just managed cloud services).
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, including kernel-level troubleshooting, networking, and security hardening.
• Willingness to learn and master GPU-accelerated infrastructure (NVIDIA HGX, NVLink, CUDA) if not already proficient.
  
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NVIDIA Base Command Manager (BCM) or HGX hardware architectures.
• Background in supporting AI/ML workloads or High-Performance Computing environments.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain production-grade on-premise Kubernetes clusters integrating specialized compute nodes.
• Configure and manage BCM Type-2 (HGX) GPU nodes for high-performance AI workloads.
• Deploy and configure the NVIDIA GPU Operator, device plugins, drivers, and CUDA runtimes within the Kubernetes context.
• Integrate CSI storage drivers for platform components, specifically targeting high-performance storage (HCSF, HCP) integration.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) for both the Kubernetes control plane and GPU hardware health.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to troubleshoot workload performance issues.
• Transition the platform from an initial build phase into a stable, long-term operational state.
