Automation Tester in Mobile

We are seeking a passionate Automation Tester to develop and maintain automated test suites for Smart TV and streaming device applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test cases using Appium for Smart TV and streaming platforms
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
• Maintain and evolve test frameworks, test data, and test environments
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Analyze test results to identify root causes and drive resolution
• Contribute to test planning, documentation, and reporting activities
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation for mobile, embedded, or Smart TV platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Mocha, Cucumber, or Jasmine
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and test result reporting
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git and Azure DevOps
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Proficient English language skills, level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)

Nice to have

• Experience with Suitest for Smart TV automation
• Background in gaming or game testing on console or cloud platforms
• Familiarity with WebDriverIO, Selenium, or Playwright
• Knowledge of Device Automation Bus or similar device control frameworks
• Exposure to Azure/Kusto for test result analytics
