Job Title: Power BI Developer

Experience: 2-5 Years

About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and dashboard development, with hands-on experience in Power BI and related tools. You will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources into Power BI for analysis.

Create and optimize data models to ensure efficient data visualization and performance.

Write and troubleshoot complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries for calculations and measures.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI solutions into business processes.

Use storytelling techniques to present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security in all Power BI solutions.

Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer.

Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying.

Experience with data integration from multiple sources such as Excel, SQL Server, APIs, or cloud platforms.

Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and KPIs.

Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that align with business requirements.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schema designs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for data integration.

Familiarity with advanced Power BI features such as Row-Level Security (RLS), Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
