UMO is a stealth-mode FinTech venture aiming to evolve the way people experience money by building a unified, AI-powered, yet deeply human modern money platform across fiat, crypto, and investments - subject to regulatory approvals. About the Role
The Office Manager is the heart of our workspace, responsible for creating a world-class environment where our team can do their best work.
In this role, you will be the primary orchestrator of the office's daily rhythm, balancing administrative precision with high-energy hospitality. You are the "go-to" person for everything related to the physical workspace — from managing vendors and supply chains to coordinating events and supporting the leadership team on the ground. As we scale our money platform, the Office Manager ensures that our culture of excellence is reflected in our physical surroundings, providing a seamless and welcoming experience for employees, partners, and candidates alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workspace Management: Own the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring it is always organized, fully stocked, and professional.
- Vendor & Supply Chain: Manage relationships with all office-related vendors (cleaning, catering, maintenance, security). Oversee procurement for office supplies, snacks, and equipment.
- Hospitality & Front Desk: Act as the first point of contact for guests and candidates, ensuring a warm welcome and a premium visitor experience.
- Onboarding Support: Partner with HR and the IT support team to prepare workstations for new hires and facilitate onboarding logistics.
- Event Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of team-building events, office celebrations, and external meetups.
- Health & Safety: Maintain office safety standards, coordinate with building management, and ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Administrative Support: Assist the leadership team with administrative tasks, document management, and shipping/courier logistics.
- Culture Advocacy: Infuse the office environment with company values, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Office Management, Workplace Operations, or a high-level Hospitality role (preferably in a tech or startup environment).
- Organizational Mastery: Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Problem-Solving: A "get-it-done" attitude—you see a problem and fix it before others notice it.
- Language: Fluent in English and the local language of the office location (mandatory for managing local vendors and administrative tasks).
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, and basic office management software.
- Location: This is a 100% on-site role.
Nice to Have:
