Senior Java Software Engineer (AI)

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer (AI) to join the ACM UI/UX redesign project, which aims to enhance the user interface and user experience of the existing Application Configuration Manager software. The Key Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the development, focusing on Java-based software solutions and the integration of relevant technologies.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development using the Java programming language and associated technologies
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement the ACM UI/UX redesign
• Utilize Cucumber for automated testing and ensure high-quality code delivery
• Integration of databases, Google Cloud Platform (GCP/AWS), Spring and Spring Boot into the project
• Adherence to best practices in software development and coding standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong proficiency in Java
• Expertise in Cucumber, databases and Google Cloud Platform (GCP/AWS)
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot and REST API
• Knowledge of Kanban, MyBatis and PostgreSQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to work in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in English with a B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development
• Skills in GenAI
