Team Summary

As Image Quality Lab Engineer Intern in SQUAD, you will be at the forefront of image quality innovation in home security technology. We strive to optimize image processing using cutting-edge technology to measure and analyze quality with scientific precision, covering key factors like sharpness, distortion, noise, dynamic range, and color accuracy.

Job Summary

You'll work closely with our embedded software and hardware teams, bridging the gap between the latest imaging technology and practical implementation in our devices.

As an Intern on our Device Engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and validating image quality across our diverse product portfolio. In this role, you will work with our camera systems to ensure outstanding performance under various lighting conditions and environmental scenarios. You will also expand your expertise by contributing to the optimization of software algorithms and their integration with hardware capabilities, helping to deliver the best possible user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with software development teams to understand new feature requirements and specifications.
• Provide valuable feedback to software engineers based on test results and performance metrics.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Personal interest in camera technologies and Image Quality.
• Experience in using cameras.
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience in camera image processing like 3A, demosaic, noise reduction.
• Experience in objective image quality in laboratory environments.
• Experience in Python software programming
• Experience in camera technologies like image sensors, optics, ALS and illumination (WLED, IR LEDs)
