In Ukraine, UNICEF (est. 1997, Kyiv) has scaled humanitarian and development programmes due to the war, working across sectors such as health, education, WASH, and social protection in collaboration with government, NGOs, and donors.
The Partnerships Team leads resource mobilization, donor relations, and reporting, managing a diverse portfolio of bilateral, multilateral, and private sector partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Reporting: Draft, edit, and proof donor reports; ensure alignment, accuracy, and timely submission.
- Content Development: Compile inputs and draft proposals, concept notes, and briefings.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain trackers, filing systems, and reporting calendars; document meetings.
- Analysis: Monitor donor trends and political developments; produce concise analytical summaries.
- Partner Engagement: Support meetings, prepare briefings, and follow up with stakeholders.
- Donor Research: Profile donors and analyze funding priorities to support partnerships strategy.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in e.g., International Relations, Political Science, Development, Communications, or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization, external relations, or a related area, preferably in an international or multilateral setting.
- Strong drafting/editing (reports, proposals, briefs)
- Research and analytical skills (policy, donor landscape)
- Language: Fluent English (required)

Current MLA: US$ 3,475 to US$ 3,920
