GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to a sophisticated medical technology platform. This role is designed for a full-stack developer with a strong focus on high-level execution across frontend, backend, and AWS cloud environments. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software features using Vue.js, Python, and Node.js. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will handle complex technical tickets and provide mentorship to mid-level engineers while ensuring software reliability in a regulated healthcare context.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 6–8 years of software engineering experience in a full-stack capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Python and Node.js development specifically within AWS environments.
• Frontend Expertise: Extensive experience with Vue.js is highly preferred, including familiarity with migrating from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• System Architecture: Understanding of multi-region SaaS architectures and the integration of distributed services.
• Regulated Industry Knowledge: Proven experience delivering software within regulated environments (e.g., healthcare or medical technology) is a significant advantage.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to work within a dedicated engineering team, aligning with technical leads and business analysts on product goals.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Drive the implementation of features across the entire application stack, including high-performance web interfaces and scalable backend services.
• Backend & Cloud Services: Develop and optimize backend logic using Python and Node.js within AWS infrastructures.
• Frontend Contribution: Build and maintain modern user interfaces with a strong preference for Vue.js (versions 2 and 3).
• Backlog Execution: Take ownership of items within the project backlog, ensuring technical requirements are translated into stable production code.
• Complex Problem Solving: Tackle senior-level technical tasks, including performance optimizations and the remediation of complex system issues.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and peer support to other developers on the team to maintain high execution standards.
• Quality Standards: Ensure all contributions meet the rigorous quality and safety standards required for regulated product delivery.
