Senior SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with a strong focus on FS-CD to join our experienced SAP Configuration & Support team.

This role is pivotal in coordinating and enhancing our SAP systems to meet evolving business needs and ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users for sign-off on defect fixes and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and triage source to target system data discrepancies using XML, log viewers, interfaces, and SAP data
• Collaborate within a 10-member SAP Configuration and Production Support team, operating both onsite and offshore
• Ensure alignment with an expected working schedule that facilitates 2 to 3 hours of overlap with the US onsite team
• Guide integration processes with various upstream applications along with SAP modules
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and propose effective solutions
• Facilitate production deployment activities in integration with SAP BASIS teams using SAP ChaRM application

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FS-CD, SAP Business Partner, and configuration activities across all SAP FS-CD processes including company code setup, cash application, and disbursement setup
• Expertise in SAP integrations and working knowledge of SAP BAPI/RFC
• Proficiency in analyzing defects, identifying their root causes, and proposing fixes
• Background in application maintenance, enhancement, and production support within IT systems
• Familiarity with SAP releases using SAP ChaRM application
• Capability to work in onsite-offshore model effectively
• Understanding of virtual collection and finalization of business requirements with cross-functional groups
• Skills in handling demanding workloads and balancing multiple priorities
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to have

• Experience with FSRI and FIGL
• Background in working with Guidewire related to Policy/Claim Admin System
• Understanding of Insurance/Reinsurance domain
