This position exists to deliver that: convert unstructured student data into actionable insight and combine it with direct, trust-based coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where analysis meets personal engagement. In one instance, you're interpreting performance metrics to identify risk early and support placement choices with sound rationale. In the next, you're working directly with a student, diagnosing misunderstandings as they happen and guiding them forward before minor issues escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation. You are responsible for measurable results.

What You Will Be Doing

• Interpret student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic summaries that enable prompt interventions
• Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, covering placement, assessment decisions, and subsequent actions
• Facilitate quick academic recovery sessions that pinpoint underlying causes and eliminate learning obstacles in the moment
• Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish conceptual gaps from errors of attention and prescribe focused follow-up work
• Coordinate with academic leadership and family engagement teams to flag risks and refine systems or methods

• Producing reports that sit unused
• Operating exclusively in the background without direct student engagement
• Transferring academic responsibility to instructors, tutors, or families
• Conducting broad tutoring sessions that lack clear diagnostic purpose

Academic Coach Key Responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning outcomes for your assigned student groups.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented results or feedback
• Minimum 1 year of sustained, direct experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this requirement)
• Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support combining analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
• Fluency in spoken and written Ukrainian and English
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including use of lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
• High emotional intelligence and the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
• Documented use of AI for data analysis or workflow automation with measurable gains in efficiency

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
